Spiritual schools (more rule altering abilities and maybe a tiny bit harder to use)

Storm - Glass cannon DPS, low health and reliability, extremely high damage output Ice - Support tank, high health and defense, low damage output I'll just list the standard MMO archetypes that each one falls into so that you will get the idea if you're a MMO fan.Įlemental schools (straightforward damage/defense abilities and easy to use)

There's no right choice for what class you want to pick, each one has a different playstyle and different school-specific quests for unlocking new spells. All you need is a $10/mo membership and maybe the occasional crowns purchase if you want something special. It's pay to play though, don't mistake it for a free game just because of the outdated freemium model. I'm glad there are more people getting into this game.
THE THINKING ROCK WIZARD101 HOW TO
xDĪny other advice on how to gear, skill, etc. Of course, if the class could also do dmg and not only support, I won't mind that at all. I sometimes like playing alone, but when playing with others I usually like to help them (buffs, heals, tank, you name it), so a class that can solo quite well and takes a supportive role in teams would be great. It might be relevant that I like to complete areas before going to the next one, so I love the feeling that there is not a single quest left around me, I don't rush high levels. So given that there are lots of veterans here as it seems, I'd like to ask your opinion: Which school should I take and for what reason? I did some digging and it seems that (like for all other MMORPGs^^) you need to pick a class/school. I personally don't care about that, I just want to play it and have fun, as it really looks nice and I enjoy turn based battles and cute graphics.

As with (almost) every other game that already existed before Steam, I see lots of discussions about "p2w or not" and lots of flame.
